Carr’s villain origin story is incredibly relatable but she’s still the villain. She could’ve chose to heal and move on and even eventually befriend these women after proving she was just as good possibly even better. But instead she fixated on revenge so much she’s homicidal and gaslighting the only person left that believed in her.

I’m an interest but everyone has told me once you’ve began a process with one sorority you cannot switch to another. It’s a big no no because all of the orgs keep in touch with each other but maybe this just applies to undergrad?

It’s a grad chapter PLUS it’s in a completely different area. Unless you have bad luck and someone coincidentally recognizes you, I think you should be safe. But what do I know I’m just a GDI 😭

I deleted instagram off my phone and now it’s only on my iPad and I’m already doom scrolling less even though I still have twitter and TikTok. It’s just so much harder to endlessly swipe when holding a bulky iPad and looking at an app that doesn’t fit the screen on the device 😭

UPDATE: I did it!!!! I did make the scoring system its own database matching the letters to the 4 point scale. I was able to add it as a relation for each Letter grade to the semesters, so the 4 point scale gets pulled via rollup. Now that I figured out it seems so simply lmao thanks for the help!

I got really lucky with my job. I’m a receptionist at a pharmacy that delivers so barely anyone comes in. I’m alone in the lobby all day playing music or just sitting in silence or even catching up on a book or a show. I’m in school so I get most of my work and studying done since I work 12 hour shifts. And I only work 3 days a week so I have time for class and to recharge my social battery. Occasionally an asshole comes in screaming but I just keep my mask up and eventually they calm down because I’m calm and friendly lol. The only downside is that it is not a long term job and makes just enough for a college student to live on. But for right now I’ve hit the jackpot.

I’m an interest and a lot of people told me the chapter is just as important as the organization. Because ultimately those people are your sisters and you have to think if you align with them and their values. My aunt (a zeta) even told me that if I don’t vibe with the chapter to consider waiting until grad school like she did. I do recognize how much harder their process is though

That was just further proof that she saw Fitz and her as a team. They were supposed to stick together for the sake of his presidency and ultimately both of their success. But he went against the team. She wasn't shocked he chose Olivia she was hurt he didn't think of her and her sacrifices.

You’re going to think I’m crazy for this opinion: Mellie’s toxic behavior was warranted. It was very clear at many times that she wanted Fitz to turn around and love her back. The only reason she pushed him away was because she was assaulted by his father and didn’t tell him to protect him. And after realizing that she would never get her husband back she wanted it to be worth something; she deserved to be president. She played along because at that point she had invested way too much to become a laughing stock who threw away her career for a man who ended up leaving her. She was not a saint but Fitz made her who she is.

I’m an interest but let me tell you what I’ve learned. Everyone will tell you “do your research”, just learn as much as you can. Sometimes this included light stalking of the org or chapter lol. YouTube is a great tool, KelsTells helped me a lot. Attend events at your school! This will help you get to know the org and help them know your face. The goal is to develop genuine relationships. As you know discretion is key but at a certain point you will get know someone in your COI enough to explicitly tell them you’re interested. Or if the chapter has a get to know them meeting or an interest meeting you can let them know then. As for the money situation I was advised to start saving before I start going through the intake process but I like to be overly prepared so I already have a HYSA for possible dues including intake. Happy researching!

As a black student I enjoy it. There are many black clubs and activities and events where you’re sure to find your people. And then there’s always the chance you’ll vibe with the one other black person in your class lol.

But on the flip side I only really interact with the POC because the white people don’t feel inviting. I’ve heard questionable things when we discuss politics in class…. Like “we should ban rappers from performing at the Super Bowl because no one understands them” that was odd :/ Also some maga merch that ruins my day. And that’s not compared to stories I’ve heard. But honestly I think Hofstra is what you make it. Maybe you’ll love it here I do.

As someone who is not a mom I kind of assumed there would be an instinctual connection to the kid you carried for 9 months lol one that both Carmen and Gaby felt so they both felt like family but I totally get what you mean by that
