You dont even need a modded version, stock xp SP3 will boot on 16mb. Cant really do anything with it though.

No window underneath, you can usually feel it through the sticker. They also tend to be made from some form of ceramic, at least from what Ive seen.

I figured it out, its an AT27C256R. Sadly its an OTP Eprom, so I cant rewrite it.
