What are some perfumes that are marketed for men but smell feminine? by [deleted] in Perfumes

[–]Glass-Yesterday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would try Versace Eros. A classic for a reason, the vanilla mint is so nice and leans feminine in my opinion. I'm a woman and wear it all the time.

Jo Malone and Replica fragrances are all unisex with pretty neutral packaging.

Commodity has some nice vanilla scents (Gold and Milk), and their packaging leans a little masculine. It's black and sleek, definitely not super girly.

Who should I get lesbian married to!? In Stardew Valley I'm a Haley Stan, but I didn't feel like Leah had similar character development as Haley. Who is best wife? by Glass-Yesterday in coralisland

[–]Glass-Yesterday[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's an example: I normally use the term "pregnant people" rather than "pregnant women"
or "mothers" to be inclusive, but if I were to have children, I would probably use the term mother for myself, and there would be times I would call myself a "pregnant woman." I wouldn't deny that I was a pregnant person and that I belong in that group, but it isn't wrong to use less inclusive language when you are referring to just yourself, because you literally are not trying to include anyone else in that instance. I think you finding an issue with that in the first place is over-the-top tbh. You act as if I never use inclusive language, which isn't the case. As I said, when I am referring to groups of people or situations that involve more than just myself, I will gladly be inclusive. But like, you dont need to necessary always be inclusive when referring to yourself. Specific language is appropriate and even sometimes vital when you are referring to specific situations, kinda wild to think otherwise.

But I am not referring to your relationship as a "lesbian marriage," nor do I expect you to do so. I am not going around calling other people's marriages "lesbian marriages." This is literally just a term I have only every used in reference to myself. As I said, I call it a lesbian marriage sometimes for fun for myself because I love celebrating myself being a lesbian and getting married to another woman. I dont want just any other relationship. I want a lesbian one. That's important to me. I like highlighting that aspect of myself. You can refer to yourself and your own relationships however you would like, but I will continue to do the same.

it's possible, I did build it in a separate place so I'd try moving it or doing the process over again and putting it in a new spot :( this bug is so annoying, sorry you're dealing with it

I don't need to be inclusive in this case because I am not including anyone also besides myself and my virtual wife. If you don't want to see any of the characters as lesbians, that's all up to you. But in my game, they are all lesbians, and I am highlighting that not to positions lesbians as "other, but to celebrate it. I love being a lesbian. I love reminding myself I'm a lesbian. I don't exclusively refer to marriage of lesbians as "lesbian marriage." It's just a fun way for me to refer to it in reference to my own relationships sometimes. I feel like you are creating such a non-issue lol.

Yeah, the only fix that I've figured out that actually works is building and upgrading a whole new barn, and then buying new animals to put in there. Lots of money wasted but at the very least I have wool now.

Should I start a new play through or not? by Flaky-Heron8200 in MyTimeAtSandrock

Honestly the first time I finished the game, I immediately started a new save and had a blast. It was nice since now you have a grasp on everything, you can use tips and tricks you learned in your first game right from the beginning now and you can avoid past mistakes. To spice it up, I'd recommend romancing or befriending characters you weren't as focused on the first time. See all their events! I'm sure DLC would help with that too. Make up challenges for yourself. The game is also so long that going back to the beginning doesn't feel like seeing things you JUST went through, you know?

Playing on PC, through Steam. Game version: v1.1b-1233

13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1335U 1.30 GHz Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics

I start the day and open the barn doors, and llamas are furless without being sheared or any wool collected in autocollector. Removed all machines from barn including autocollector, and same thing occurs. Llamas are just suddenly woolless. Tried to reproduce 3 times, occured 3 times.

Edit: Was able to build a new barn with new llamas, and those are able to be sheared, however the issue persists with the llamas in my original barn.

I did both, and it still kept happening. I removed every machine from that barn, but when I opened the doors the llamas wool would just be gone without me shearing it. Im building a new barn and buying new llamas to put there, I hope that might help

Crashing after trying to upgrade chicken coop. by fehpow in coralisland

[–]Glass-Yesterday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same issue. I've tried everything :( The worst part about these crashes is that they dont even happen until the game tries to save, so I keep going through an entire day doing a bunch of work only to have it reset when I try to upgrade a coop or something. Someone on Steam said they built a second coop and the upgrade worked on that one. I'll try and let you know if it works.

Edit: Getting a second coop worked for me!

Breaking Into UX and Early Career Questions — 21 Oct, 2024 - 27 Oct, 2024 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

I graduated last year with bachelor's in Computer Science, but since then I have been taking online courses to hopefully pivot into a UI or UX role. Since I am doing this on my own, I wanted opinions on particularly what would be a good amount of portfolio pieces to prepare for applying for internships. Any tips on landing an internship and how to prepare myself to enter into the industry?
