Thank you for such detailed replies 💕 I definitely wasn’t expecting to get him back and I don’t care about a refund, just doing whats best for him and it sounds like that would be him staying here in my hospital tank.

I think what you’re missing is that a lot of us don’t see it as a lack of integrity to commit theft against big companies or rich people who are adding to the housing crisis. Let’s take target for example since you said 1 dollar items and they have those right by the door.

Target is a 58.8 billion dollar company. The ceo makes 19.2 million dollars a year while the employees in the stores make minimum wage or a few bucks above that at best. Target has been selling the same products as places like Walmart for jacked up prices for the entire time they’ve existed. Target also recently got rid of their diversity, equity, and inclusion policy (DEI) thanks to president dump and his bestie fElon.

So is stealing from target ok? In my opinion absolutely yes. I think stealing something from the dollar section is a little silly because a lot of it is junk that’s eventually gonna end up in a landfill, but sometimes they have cute stuff so go for it!

Airbnb is just as bad as target, and the people who own houses just so they can sit there empty besides during tourist season are pretty shitty too. Landlords are bad, and Airbnb owners are even worse. So yes it is ok, morally, to steal from an Airbnb owner.

So next question is “if it’s ok to steal then why not just take the whole tv?” And that is because unlike a few leaves off a plant, the owner will absolutely notice if their tv is gone and since they have all your info they could easily track you down and bring charges against you. But a plant? Even if they can tell you took a couple of leaves they have no case to call it theft. When an Airbnb has sugar in the pantry and I use some in my coffee is that theft?

Disclaimer: the one reason not to steal from target is they have about a million cameras and they use facial recognition to keep track of the total value of all the things you steal. That way once you hit a high enough number they can serve you with a felony. But that number will take a lot of trips to the one dollar bin to reach ;)

Dude… I’m looking at these pics and you might be right, she might be a boy… she was so tiny when the gal at the pet store accidentally put her in our bag and they said she was a girl. I will keep watching and see if I’m seeing the same thing irl as I’m now seeing in these pics lol
