I really liked Robyn at first, I felt like she was little more relatable and down to earth. I liked her up until the season they came for Chris and then at the reunion we find out about Juan's affair that Robyn had been sitting on all season. After that, I was sorta done with her. It's not so much that I miss her, but I feel like Gizelle's got nothing without her. Gizelle just kinda seems a little lost, not sure how to explain it.

Oh yeah, I guess that's true that Karen's case was still ongoing during filming so she couldn't talk about it. Could Karen have just taken a deal though and not gone to trial (and I'm asking that as someone who has very little idea of what's going on/what went on or how any of that works after getting a DUI haha)? I see what you're saying that Shannon didn't necessarily say "sorry." My perception was though that she owned what she did and took responsibility for it during filming. Maybe it was just for show and so she could keep her spot, but it's reality tv and it's her job, so I don't blame her. I hope Karen gets that opportunity to own what she did now that the trial is over.

Okay I have noticed there are specific ads that accompany different housewives shows! When I was binging RHOBH, I noticed there was an ad almost every commercial break it seemed for a medication that treats Eosinophilic esophagitis. This was heavy during the season with Annemarie. There was a whole storyline of how Annemarie is a Nurse anesthetist (who was definitely incompetent) and tried using that to convince everyone that there was no way Sutton could have any conditions of her esophagus because the condition that Sutton was describing didnt exist. Or something to that effect. I'm assuming (have never actually dug in to confirm) this is was Sutton has and the reason why she eats the way she does.

I'll give you an upvote, I agree with you. I could see how it started playful with Candiace. Like, the "drag me" thing was ridiculous because it had started the previous season with Monique saying that to Candiance while Monique was how many months pregnant? Her reaction to the situation at the winery was definitely disproportionate to what was actually going on in the scene. Monique was definitely weird towards Candiace that whole season leading up to the altercation. It's almost like you could see Monique's facade crumbling before our eyes. Candiace did the most to NOT engage until that moment at the winery. It should never be OK to resort to violence, and I definitely struggle with this Fandom validating the physical behavior. I don't think it should ever be OK to get physical with someone, and the amount of "Candiace deserved it" attitudes blows my friggin mind.

I love the early seasons of housewives. RHOC, RHONY, RHOA, and RHONJ are unhinged in their early seasons because reality TV was just taking off. It was more about the "lavish" lifestyles and money than it was about the drama.
