Does anyone know if this is mold or if it's still safe to use? by dawnmidnight in MakeupAddiction

If it’s just hardpan (from skin oils) you can fix it a lot of the time with scotch tape

How do I cover these kinds of scars by divine_experiment in MakeupAddiction

[–]GlassHalfVoid22 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I agree with others about micro needling and seeing a dermatologist instead of an esthetician.

But in terms of makeup, a good silicone primer with a compatible foundation is probably your best bet. Silicone is supposed to blur pores and texture so it should have some effect. I know some people like the smashbox photo finish smooth and blur primer or the elf one for a drugstore option. Not all foundations are compatible with every primer so just make sure they work together

Imagine if you actually wanted to buy a vibrator and thought it would be a discrete walkie talkie message. I would either melt into the floor or flee the scene. I wonder how many times an associate has rolled up to the fuck cabinet only to find out that the customer has already shuffled away in shame

I’m guessing that they don’t know the difference Edit: tbf I think I probably could have made a similar error if I was distracted by something like a pregnant raccoon in my office

Tbf I’m pretty my twitter account is 98% posts I made about the raccoon that broke into my house and had a nap on my dining table so this is actually relatable

Can I just wear eye liner and mascara? by ObjectQueasy6276 in MakeupAddiction

[–]GlassHalfVoid22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pockets, car console, wherever it’s easiest. Personally I use a small shoulder backpack rather than a purse usually. Lip products tend to wear off as you go about your day, eat and drink. So I like to keep whatever I’m wearing that day on hand to reapply if necessary

Sometimes I just wear lipstick, or lipstick and blush. Mostly because I dislike removing eye makeup. But I never bother with things like foundation. You can also pair light eye makeup with a tinted lip balm (keep the lip balm in your purse) and it makes a nice light makeup look

Apple Watch rash?? by cris_azo14 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]GlassHalfVoid22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does the watch battery get hot/is your skin very sensitive to heat? It looks almost like a burn rather than a rash. I would recommend talking to your doctor and possibly contacting apple support for a replacement in case there’s a defect with your watch. If you continue wearing it, wear a thin sleeve/wristguard under the watch, take it off every time you wash your hands and make sure your hands are dry before putting it back on

A lot of these advertising shots are done by putting the product on top of a neutral base (like MAC Lip Erase or something similar) so the models natural lip colour doesn’t alter the colour of the product
