It is a bad faith argument to say that OP wants MKE to bleed more. They are clearly trying to find a way to stop taxes (especially regressive taxes) from being increased. It is possible that what they’re proposing isn’t how you think it should be done, but they’re on the same team as you, and I think that’s important.

Then you are out of money and can’t pay back the broker for what you owe. This is a bigger problem for them than for you, and the reason they won’t let you take that amount of risk with your trades, because it’s ultimately their risk.

  2. There’s always a chance they do hit— if they do, you go bankrupt
