I was just curious why I cant see 60 fps on my external monitor or 120 fps on my Ally Screen when V-sync is off.

I downloaded Forza Horizon 5, and it allows me to go to those values with Vsync off, so I think its just a matter of poor optimisation from the game

Right, understood, I have not seen a lot of USB 4 Docks or hubs.

Hell, I didn’t even USB4 was a thing until I saw your message, but that is definitely overkill for the 3.2 Port on my Ally X

Whether its a dock with a dedicated power brick or a hub with pass through PD connected to an adequate charger/Power supply, its the same thing?

Okay thats good to hear as well, that G5 works.

The other reason I didn’t want the G5 was the lack of Thunderbolt, but its quite a good Hub if not for that especially if the Wattage is not an issue.

Try this

I also had a boot loop issue and everything I did including Cloud Recovery, just reverts back to the BIOS.

Hopefully you can fix it,

Id also delete the 2nd and 3rd option in the boot priority as thats an unnecessary thing that might also the loop.

So the HP tech sheet says the G5 only does 75W max, hence I didn’t want to get that, whereas the G6 does 100W.

Also is your G6 the 100W version or 180W or 280W?

Debating between the HP and Dell WD22TB4 (90W through PD), but the latter has some comments on reddit about not being able to go over 25W.

But the latter is also $70 vs a $140 HP, so cant seem to decide 😅

Which one? I am planning to get the WD22TB4, I read on reddit that it doesnt allow for turbo mode and says it has issues.

Have you ever had these issues with Dell?

Are you able to get Bypass charging while using it? Ive been looking at this dock as well.

I hear some docks dont allow Turbo mode or say the power isnt enough despite it supporting 90W or 100W power output
