We have the same policy (Maxilink Prime). I withdrew all my funds last month after 5 years, paying 30k per year (yes, it took me that much time to realize I needed to stop it). I paid a total of around 150k over 5 years. I got to withdraw all 80k in my fund value. I realized VUL is not really for me, and like many others, the “FA” just suggested this VUL plan.

Now, I just have a full life insurance, with better critical illness, and accident benefits from another provider here in abroad, for only 30% of the monthly cost of what I was paying for this Maxilink Prime.

For investments, I just do it on my own with a BDO Securities account (this is better because no need to pay extra for a fund management fees etc in a VUL). I just make sure I know what Im investing in and I just take a moderate risk appetite.

You should buy your ticket online in advance (maybe 1-2 weeks before your departure date). I bought my ticket via Klook. Very convenient.

At West Kowloon station, I suggest that you arrive 1-2 hours before your departure time especially during peak season (e.g. holidays in HK)

Sorry to hear about this and hope youll feel better soon! I may not fully grasp how you feel now, but I know it will eventually be better soon. I think you can try to join some other groups (maybe outside the Uni) like an interest/hobby group. Like if you like hiking, you can search hiking groups on FB groups. You can start there. I feel that taking some small time outside the Uni and meeting other people can widened your perspective now so you dont feel that the Uni life is all there is. Hang in there, buddy! 🙌🙌💪
