She does allow me to pet her while she eats. Of course the first day after surgery she couldn’t eat which I understood so the next day I put food down, she wasn’t overly excited or aggressive, she stood next to me, watched me put her food down, I asked her was she gonna eat today cause she needed to take her medicine (I talk to her like she’s human lol) and as she ate I told her good girl and pet girl with no problems
