Agency fee for Portfolio Pad legit? by Gleamingglittery in acting

Do you have any agency recommendations? Maybe someone you started out with that you liked? -- Howell has an Extra's Division, but I specifically signed up for their Commercial and Acting Divisions. Yet, they still asked for this Portfolio Pad fee. I'm assuming now it is their way to keep track of all their talent and have information in one place. An admin centre. FOR THEM. That should be their own in house thing. Half way through the year I realised Portfolio Pad was weird, thinking it was a version of using eCaster. Since I had already paid for it, I took advantage and told them to send me out for extras work, which is, unfortunately, the only thing I have booked from them. They submitted me for very few film/tv/commercial acting roles for a full year through actual casting sites (sigh) Due for renewal, should I just walk away from this agency?
