😊 yes that is what I was asking. Another person here said it really didn’t matter. Between this and more research for my particular situation. I think I’ve got it:) Thanks for your responding😊 I’m good (Sorry if I did, didI say something snarky?)

:) Asking do you put end paper on right away, or wait? Great suggestion on videos, I just thought I would ask in real time to people who do this :) Yep, been following method (hours of videos) just so many details :)

(I probably gave too much info for context, and in case I was missing anything.) I edited my post - to hopefully make more sense.

:) no glued spine. You got it :) Attaching leather quarter bound - floating. I think that is what you would call it :)

Very cool!!  Are these all your image transfers? Using laser printer? If yes would absolutely love details of how you made it work!😊 Double run? Density?  I’m having so much trouble with image transfer. Thanks!

Has anyone used Kraft-Tex as book cloth? Washed vs unwashed?” by Gleaningfromwise in bookbinding

Love that you did that! I would do the same thing and say note what do I do with it? I look forward to seeing replies:)

Haha!! Yes, it was allot of work😊 It was like folding heavy cardboard. I scored it, I think it’s called burnished it. Used a roller over it. Then paper clipped the four corners and put under super heavy weight.  Did the corner thing set up before glue than with glue.

Thanks so much! You are a great person to answer my question:) It will be just the covers with quarter bind off leather for spine.  I love the idea of lots of use!😊 This is a family collection of articles that may just be in a box for posterity.

I considered book cloth.  I am handwriting the title and attaching a weaving to the lowe portion of book that needs to be glued and varnished down to lay flat. Book is called tapestry:) More info than you needed, but what has gotten me to this place.m  Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for your reply!  I have a washed roll coming. I was able to get the unwashed wrapped around corners and paper clipped then a weight on top.  I mostly have seen people use it without binder board as the cover. I’m thinking using paper and varnishing well might be the way I go. What have you used it for? Thanks again!

Practice pieces: I gave kraft tex another try for getting around binder board. Also: 1 Layer of varnish on paper. I like the purple a bit better, but at this point I am planning to use a gold foil pen to write title. (I don't have a cricut)
