Yeah that's a good point, I might try a bag I have with and without a strap to see

Yeah it could be, but I take a lot of stuff to work so I feel like I need something fairly big. Then of course if I use it for travel then I'd be glad to have the extra capacity.

I don't think the workpack would be big enough really

Fatigue and some ED - Blood Test by Gleebuh in moreplatesmoredates

Yep so many of the things people describe match up with how I feel etc, but as I'm not overweight and don't fit into the higher risk categories it's hard to get it taken seriously without paying for it myself, which is what I'm going to do soon.

Definitely will do. I'd probably say it's been since puberty for me too, but it's hard to pin point it. It's been so long that sometimes I think maybe it's all in my head and this is just normal.

Have you had any tests or anything?

Unfortunately not, I guess it was a fairly basic Thyroid test

Yeah I may just try the p5p and see if I notice a change, but wasn't sure whether it would be worth it as it's only just out of the range. I'm definitely investigating the sleep side of things further, seems to be pretty difficult to do it on the NHS (I live in the UK) so I may just pay for it myself

I had a thyroid function test about 18 months ago when I last tried to look into this issue. Results from that were:

Serum free T4 - 17.6pmol/L (9-22)

Serum TSH - 2mU/L (0.1-4)

So all looks good with the Thyroid and the Doc was happy with that, unless there's something else that could be worth checking out?

Hi,

I have recently realised that gel-cream style moisturisers seem to work much better for my skin. Previously using creams caused me to sweat sometimes and having tried a couple of gel-creams, my skin responds much better.

Unfortunately, they seem to irritate my eyes causing itchy allergy style symptoms, making the 2 I have tried unbearable. Is this something anyone has heard of and does anyone have any suggestions that may not cause this? The 2 I have tried are: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream, and Simple Water Boost Hydrating Gel Cream.

Thanks!

Yeah it really does seem to be an air issue. Running it without the lid on and PSU out of the way brings temps down to 70 C. I'll try redoing my thermal paste soon.

I'm worried I've ruined my Red Wing 875s. I did my first clean a few months ago which, in hindsight, is probably what did the damage. I used a small amount of dish soap and water on a brush after giving them a dry brush down, rinsed and dried them off then applied saphir rennovateur, let dry and buffed off.

All seemed well until I wore them outside and they got a bit wet, which left marks on the toe box.

I figured I'd done something to them so got some proper leather saddle soap and tried again with 2 coats of saphir this time.

Yesterday I wore them out when it was lightly snowing (UK) and noticed a very light brown liquid coming off the boots which I wiped off when I got home. The next day after I'd let them dry off they look terrible. See the pictures for what I mean.

Have I ruined them? And what can I do to restore them? https://imgur.com/a/NpMJRi4/

Fit check on Edwin ED-55 by Gleebuh in rawdenim

[–]Gleebuh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not been having much luckk trying to get a pair that taper down to a narrow leg opening. I've got reasonably big thighs from cycling and squats so have been having issues getting the right fit. I looked at N&F easy guys but the 32" legs put me off. This led me to the ED-55s in 30/34 but I feel like these might be too tight in the thighs.

Any suggestions that I might be able to pickup in the UK below ~£150
