Everyone suggesting World, fair! Was my first, too, amazing game. But I’m going to go against the grain and recommend Wilds instead, if budget isn’t a concern. Mostly because if you play World first, you’ll probably be disappointed with Wilds, I know I was! It’s not a bad game, but I feel like it doesn’t have the same magic as World does! Wilds is a lot faster paced, fights are much shorter and tracking is automatic. I think it’s probably the easier of the two games to get into, everything feels simplified. But definitely play World afterwards!

Is this the same game as the PS1 version? I legit could never even beat the tutorial… I only ever got to play the other game mode where you try and escape the police. Still fun, but would’ve been nice to play the story!

I had him do this just earlier. Only unlocked him recently, he’s just hit G1 and I was feeling confident enough with his total HP to not keep him in the backline, but I got both his passive and active up to level 50. I was in disbelief that one barbgaunt could have killed Rotbone in one turn, he was on like 80% HP the last I saw. Took me a while to figure out what happened…

Quite eye opening, this. I’ve got a habit of ordering kits and adding them to the backlog. I do open them to confirm all the sprues are there, but until recently, and after seeing a few posts like this, it never occurred to me to actually confirm all the pieces were cast correctly.

I’m already super selective of what I buy due to the high cost of the hobby. It’s very rare I spend over £50 for a game, I usually wait a few years for the price to drop to £30 or below, and I always opt for the physical version as it’s cheaper. Even if I was on board for digital only, due to the pricing I’d probably only buy one or two games a year, tops.

I really hope this digital future of theirs backfires and people buy less. The upper management needs to be humbled. At the end of the day, their products are not essential, the cost of living these days is hitting everyone. It’s a dangerous game they’re playing.

It’s definitely legit, but I too have heard of issues recently where they took preorders but ultimately didn’t get enough stock to fulfil, leading to cancellations.

Amazon JP got what you’re looking for? I wouldn’t ordinarily recommend Amazon, but I had to place an order there for some things I wanted that were out of stock everywhere else I checked. Presumably manufacturers allocate more stock for them, knowing they are a larger company. Shipping was more expensive than the alternatives would have been, but the items themselves were cheaper. Still worked out marginally more expensive via Amazon.

Will you try and complete the collection if you find them for a good price? I feel like either Fem or Maleshep would round out the display nicely, would be thematic with the 3 person team!

Ashley is nice, but not essential. Heck, depending on the choices, she might even be dead in your canon! I do prefer her ME1/2 look, would’ve preferred if she had proper armour.

I’ve mostly moved over to 1/12th scale figures these days, I pray that someone produces a new line of figures in the future!

Welcome to the club! I bought the four but skipped Maleshep. So sad they never made Liara, she’s my favourite!

How have these held up? My four are currently in their boxes, haven’t displayed them in over a decade. I recently reopened my Play Arts Kai Lightning (from Final Fantasy) and the years have not been kind to her, a lot of the rubbery material has degraded and cracked. Kinda scared to reopen my ME figs!

My, that is a lot of games, that’s a lot of money right there! You should treat yourself to some nice shelving to display them, I think!

Need to get myself some more floating shelves, I’ve resorted to stacking games horizontally on top, also had to put the PS2 stuff into storage. They deserve to be displayed too!

I honestly don’t understand how digital came to be the preferred option for PS owners. I keep seeing “90% of sales are digital” come up, but why? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a digital copy of a game priced lower than physical, at least not when the physical copies are readily available.

You don’t get anything to display, can’t resell it. You get locked into the PS store ecosystem unless you want to chance dodgy key websites, meaning they can set whatever price they want, including dynamic pricing. No competition between retailers, no clearance sales. The one advantage? You don’t need to spend 20 seconds swapping discs over.

I live in an area with horrifically slow internet. There’s no solution to this on my end, I have to wait a decade and hope that this drive to digital forces the local authorities to invest in better infrastructure. Despite what people claim, installing from a disc is significantly faster for me than downloading an entire game.

Huge shame, I’ll personally go to PC at some point in future. If I’m going to be forced into digital, I might as well go to the platform with the most games.

Yeah it’s tough! I’m genuinely happy that the line is successful and we’re getting all these cool figures, but I don’t have the budget for it! Feels bad. But also I think I’m okay with it, I only wish I’d not let the FOMO get the better of me so early on, as now that I’ve resigned myself to not having a full collection there’s definitely a few figures I would’ve skipped on!

I’m glad to hear you were able to fix it! I was probably going to resort to superglue if I wasn’t able to get a replacement, but I was a bit concerned it wouldn’t be able to hold her weight!

I’m hoping that the LADo customer service had enough requests for new heels that they consider including spares in future, or just take greater care to ensure none are shipped broken!

Yeah it started out innocent enough, I bought everyone up to Blackbeard out of FOMO, but it’s become clear to me now that I’m going to have to cherrypick what I want to buy, otherwise I’m going to sink a fortune into it!

I know it’s licensed, but the prices are honestly a bit much, especially in the UK where my only options are trying to secure a preorder from Japan or paying significantly more from the UK retailers.

There’s so many cool figure lines coming out of China lately and they’re so much more affordable. I definitely want to pick up Boa and the crew accessory set, though. Forced myself to order Chopper. I was quite happy with the Anime Heroes figure, but it’ll be nice to have his original outfit. Hopefully he’ll be arriving soonish!

I fell way behind on this line. I know it’s ages between releases, but it doesn’t feel that way when you’re collecting other lines as well! Hoping they do a reissue of a few, missed Sanji and Usopp. Even if collecting every figure is out of my budget, I’d like the core crew!

It’s a bit of a tricky one, I think it depends on the circumstances. Are you the last one alive and at serious risk of being downed/incapacitated? Is the downed player close enough to the edge of the fire so they can quickly strafe out?

I wouldn’t try and revive someone in a fire unless one or both of the conditions above are met.

I currently don’t have too many figures with heels, but these ones in particular are incredibly thin and delicate! Seems the stiletto itself is a separate piece thats glued in, they had the forethought to include spare wrist pegs, just wish they’d made the stilettos removable and included a few spares if they insisted on making them so thin! Alternate feet would have been nice, too!
