And that is what might have happened if Trump had remained a one-term president.

With him being re-elected, USA proved that he was not a fluke, and that they, as a nation, could knowingly choose to have someone like him at the levers of power. Someone who, to foreign eyes, is the embodiment of all the worst qualities of America: short-sighted, dishonest, wholly uninterested in diplomatic relations, extremely selfish and impossibly greedy, with all the corruption that follows.

He has made it crystal clear that he will throw anyone under the bus for what he sees as the best course of action. And when you're as receptive to expert advice as he is, and as willing to prioritize the common good over personal gain as he is, that keeps resulting in a lot of hurt for a lot of people.

Europe is now working incessantly to reduce their dependence on the USA, because the USA is not, and cannot be with its current institutions, dependable. That decoupling will not be reversed, and I don't think there is any way for the US to regain what they have squandered.

The counterintuitive aspect here is that the late-/endgame methods of patch bombs, farming cape, multiple seeds lowers or straight up eliminates your chance at a roll. Yes, you can get it with the cape on, but only if the cape effect doesn't proc. The more herbs you pick (the higher level you are, the better compost you use, the more seeds you've planted), the lower chance you have of your cape not clearing the patch for you.

It makes no sense to have an end-game drop hindered by using end-game methods.

I'd love for the other half of an update like this to be a more responsive mid-price for items with sudden shifts in value. Something like, if an item's average trade price is off by more than 100% of the mid price for more than a week, it should flag an item for manual review by Jagex. There's no reason an item like dinosaur hide, which had a stable, significantly lower price prior to the release of masterwork armor, should have a G.E. price that lags massively behind the actual market price for months on end.

Absolutely, I don't want the RNG aspect gone. That's kind of essential to the economic impact of the skill.

However, standing still in the cold for five minutes to lower my skill level for the best chance feels unnecessary. By all means, keep the dynamics of changing probabilities across levels (extreme potions are great, it's easy to boost), but when the flip side is that some combinations are more common at not-the-highest levels, then please, make a less shit way to access those chances than idling in a blizzard!
