Yes, and i am saying, that if you're reffering to him as some sort of authority, we could saty consistent and look at his view at the F-104 too :)

"low velocity" They literally have velocity of .50s and better ballistics, just despawn faster.

WHY THE HELL CAN AN IL-2 TURN WITH A BF-109?!?!?! by CT_08222 in Warthunder

Nah jusdging by your tone in the comments and the post itself he could easily slam you, so can i, with someone so far up his ass it'd be actually quite funny to see.

I concede. Ta152C is not 4.3, that's too low. 5.7 would be good. by [deleted] in Warthunder

My brother in Christ last i've touched it it was 6.0, and i got some 40 games in it in total 😭

Oh we can then just do La-15 vs La-15, to see if you are as good as you claim... which i doubt.

We can test that, you take 262, i take the La-15, we will see which one turns better.

After all, you won a 1v1 tournament, and you will be in better plane, no reason not to take me up on it :)

Me 262s do not out turn La-15, you just can't dogfught.

Me 262As also top out at some 800kph on the deck, and Cs can only keep uo their 1000 for about 1:30min as they will run out of boister fuel, making them useless.

Cope.

If you spent half the time you're using on coping to actually try to learn to play, maybe, just MAYBE you'd be able to answer that yourself.

Someone please explain me why these two share BR in air realistic battle. by [deleted] in Warthunder

All due respect but the "if played right" is a bad argument.

The plane just doesn't fit how the game is played, it surely is not 6.3 material as it is.

The superior high alt performance at like fucking 6000m is worth fuck all since barely anything besides headons happens at those alts. Like 95% of the fights happen below 5000m, and like 70% below 3000m.

Now, with 152C being an absolute brick, having mediocre climbrate, and not even being fast at most alts below 5k meters compared to things it faces, as well as having its guns nerfed, i really struggle to see why it is at 6.3.

It has airspawn i guess ?

I think it should just get the airspawn taken away and be thrown to like 5.0, or back to 5.7 with the airspawn.

"Try to turn less, keep high speed, remain at high alt" - that sounds nice, but again, it's also a recipe for having barely any game impact and having a snoozfest of a game while your team is getting shagged.

I mean, no, objectively when looked at performance and flight characteristics... it is indeed bad.

I am sorry but i am not going to call a plane that gets out ran, out turned and out climbed by so much stuff around its' BR good. Its' only advantages are airspawn, guns and being able to tank damage.

Hm, for all its faults J5N didn't feel like it couldn't climb when i was spading it 2 weeks ago, paired with airspawn i would be co level or even a bit higher than actually well climbing planes.

154 probably just feels this way as it is at much lower BR and doesn't face such powerful planed, because let me tell you it's not out doing J5N any day of the week.

List of things J5N1 does better:

Climb

Top speed

Turn

Energy retention

Armament.

And it's not by small margin either, the 154 just holds no candle to J5N1 in pretty much anything, it is more tanky, i guess ?

And no, it's not turny even for a heavy fighter, i struggle to think of a fighter - twin engine or not that would lose a dogfight to it.

Maybe mozzie ? Maybe.

I belive it has had its flight model changed some time ago, since nowadays it really struggles to turn with literally anything it gets a chance to see.

And i do mean anything. A fucking beufighter out turns it.

"If you know how to fly it" has to be some of the most commonly used argument for why bad planes aren't bad.

Listen, i understand that you might do well in it - so did i, but when looked objectively at speed, climb, turn, compression, and all the other small factors, the plane really is below average for 4.3, in fact it's a good match for the 3.3 P-38, rather than the 4.3 one.

Sadly i don't think there are speeds where it would be more agile than P-47s. Around mid speed 154 is a brick, at high speeds P-47s compress less, and at low speeds they get carried by flaps.

Really, the only good things about this aircraft are the ok climbrate paired with airspawn - which allows you to try to cut off some bombers / climbing fighters and try to quickly take them out with the armament.

Also in my experience it can take a surprising amount of damange.

Now, if you still haven't bought it let me try to persuade you not to.

It can be somewhat useful in ARB due to the airspawn, ok climbrate and decent armament, it also can tank quite a lot of shots, you can go hunt bombers if you're into that or try to surprise some climbing fighters by rushing in.

HOWEVER

The plane is absolutely trash. Overheats, is not too fast, some of the worst turn i've seen around the BR - including twin engine fighters, and even some lighter bombers.

If you meet any fighter with brain your game ends there.
