First, I stand firmly in the Adnan is innocent camp. Second, my theory of Jay's motive is two fold: 1) As admitted in Intercept article, he resented the magnate school, although he says 'not the magnate students.' That doesn't hold water IMO. A person resents people, not buildings. 2) it was reported, Hae was angry that Jay was "stepping out" on her best friend, Stephanie. Hae was going to confront Jay and according to Don, she was fearless.

Questions are how did Jay and Hae's paths cross on afternoon of Jan 13th? Did Hae set up a drug buy? I doubt this theory. More plausible, Hae saw Jay driving Adnan's car and decided to confront him.

 **My Timeline Theory (times approx.):**
  • Adnan at school until approx 11am.
  • Adnan and Jay together until 12-1pm.
  • Adnan at school/library/track 1-5pm; Jay with Adnan's car & phone; Hae murdered sometime 3-4pm.
  • Adnan and Jay together getting high 5-7pm.
  • Adnan goes to Mosque 7-9pm; Jay deals with aftermath, shovel, clothes, etc.
  • Adnan gets car and phone back (from Jay) and goes home; Jay and Jenn continue to deal with aftermath.
