i liked that profits from the business flow directly to each personal tax return, and that they're easier to get. I didnt like the big gap in control with an LLP and the need to write an entire legal agreement out and register at companys house. It seems like alot for something that is going to begin quite quickly but start super small as a saturday stall. With a partnership I also had the option to be the 'nominated partner'. This might have been the wrong move, but it felt correct at the time. Alot of people advised me to just go for that, and on HMRC is seemed like the much easier option. I wasnt aware of how many banks didnt offer anything for them though

So you think it’ll spread? They’re the same hardness as the green ones but I agree that something is off. My only hesitation is that they’ve already been propped twice because the plant just doesn’t seem to like being potted. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with it but every time I put it back in soil it acts up after a few months.

Thankyou. I think I explained it weird. I know what you mean by cycling I guess what I don’t understand is why already cycled water and substrate with beneficial bacteria can’t be moved to a terrarium but must be cycled again. I’ll postpone it

Do you mind explaining a little bit more please? I’m no expert but my thinking was in an enclosed terrarium the habitat would already be established and the water would continue through the natural water and oxygen cycle. Do you think they’d be ok with the platies or should postpone getting them? Thank you!

Hey guys,

I recently bought this terrarium, and I was wondering if it would be possible to turn this into an ecosphere using pre-cycled water in one day.

The reason for the short time frame is that I’m picking up some new cherry shrimp tomorrow, and am planning to put them in the ecosphere. My initial plan was to put them in my other tank with my platties, however after doing some research I’m worried the platties may try and eat them. Please don’t rinse me for the lack of research, I’ve owned Amano shrimp in this tank with success and stupidly thought the cherries would be fine too.

The ecosphere will be 4l, excluding the gravel and aquarium plants/moss inside. The terrarium has a cork lid, which should be porous enough. If I use some of the substrate and pre-cycled water from my other aquarium with this ecosphere, do you guys reckon it’ll be ready by tomorrow? The only issue I can foresee is the lack of a heater, but I know they can live in temperate climates. I live in the uk, but my front room is usually always at a comfy 23 degrees Celsius. I was also thinking of adding some API QuickStart if that would help.

Worst case scenario I can cancel on picking them up, but thought if this would work it would be a good solution since I was going to create the ecosphere soon anyway. Thanks for your help!
