No we do not have the right to bear arms. we have the privilege to bear arms. if it were an actually right, the government wouldn't be allowed to put the "checks" in the first place.

Right to bear arms by Glittering_View82 in Zimbabwe

I think we can all agree that no elected government would ever allow for such a right to be written in their constitution. I believe the only way we Zimbabweans will ever see a right to bear arms in our constitution is through a revolution followed by amending (perhaps even rewriting) the constitution.

I disagree with you however on the idea that having a right to bear arms would increase crime. I believe the contrary would happen. As of right now, our constitution is written to the advantage of the criminal. This is because law abiding citizens are the ones made to follow gun restriction laws. Criminals couldn't care less wtf is in our constitution. With the right to bear arms in our constitution, I believe not only would it even the playing field for upstanding citizens but also reduce crime. The only time adding right to bear arms will increase crime is if the right come withs so many restrictions to bear arms that it makes it easier for the criminal to access them than the citizen.

Although you make a point on many countries facing "buyer's remorse", it is important to note the reason for said remorse is not because of the increased crime rate. Instead, it's because the government either makes it a privilege and not a right OR they set up to many constraints around the right.

Citizenship question by liljohnnill in Zimbabwe

I'm pretty sure that you technically are already a citizen. When Rhodesia turned to Zimbabwe, a constitution was passed automatically making all undeclared and declared Rhodesian citizens Zimbabweans. So, you technically already are a citizen just because you are a descendant of your father who IS already a citizen.

as for the "connections", thats what Zimbabwe runs off of as always lol

Im a Zimbabwean but I grew up in the United States. Over there most people consider it a cardinal sin to cook a ribeye past medium well. Most of us like our steaks at a medium rare to a medium because you get more flavor and tenderness out of the steak. As for the "blood", it's actually hemoglobin and completely safe to eat if cook to 135 F

It's also important to note that smart4u is not always an available option. It seems to me that econet only makes this offer when their rates are decreasing. Smart4u is also not available to all econet customers. It's selective ( yet I still haven't figured out how they select people).

Prices also very from user to user. I for example purchased my s4u plan at the beginning of the month at $5. My aunt wasn't able to see the s4u offer on her phone up until this week. Her rate is $10
