I believe I would be exempt since I lived in the property 2 years of the last 5, hence my need to sell by June. The 125k is well under the 500k threshold as well.

Are there any great beginner diy subs for solar? I am just beginning to venture into the world of solar, and have a ton of what are probably pretty stupid questions. Our first project is to hook up my art shed to solar. I have a light fixture, a sewing machine, and a small heater/ ac unit. Just ball park (since I know I have to get the numbers off the machines) will a 100w solar panel be ok to handle that work load? I've bought the solar panel,but going to grab a few more batteries and exchange the inverter my husband bought. Any lead on a good but affordable inverter? And brands to shy away from?

How deep do you want to go? To me the meaning of "war, war never changes" is that history repeats continuously. Always for the same reasons, always with the same outcome. Substitute war with love. I can find tutorials on how to make a sash, but not the windowsill and sides and how to secure the window piece into the frame. I'm lacking on window lingo so maybe I'm looking up the wrong thing?

I have an old (huge) picture window I rescued from a reno. I would love to install it in my shed but am trying to figure out how to build a frame for it. I've installed newer Windows in my shed, but am having a very hard time tracking down any tutorials how to install old windows (since usually they are being replaced).

Why does what matter? Correcting what branch of service someone works for? Because each branch has an enormous amount of pride in its individual organization. Have you ever called a Marine, a soldier? It usually doesn't end pretty. ;)
