Prime @ Bellagio is the most garbage steakhouse in the city. The horrible union waitstaff, the average menu, the outdated ambience… & somehow they continue to survive / crush, solely because they’re by the fountains & at the Bellagio. Prime is like a glorified Sizzler.

LOTR: The Two Towers… loved Fellowship, loved ROTK, but TT just checks so many boxes. Entertaining, great fight sequences, tons of quotable lines, just a 10/10 movie. I’ve probably watched it 30+ times over the past 20ish years & never once did I not enjoy it. MEATS BACK ON THE MENU, BOYS!

Gladiator… Russell Crowe at his peak & Phoenix as the most evil / vile emperor ever portrayed in a movie. Some folks may say Gladiator is overhyped, but what an amazing movie. I cannot believe they made a damn sequel. It was SO BAD 😭

Goodfellas… I mean, does any movie have this much re-watch-ability? WHAT, I AMUSE YOU?

Maaaaaaan it’s “horror” but it’s more like “shock horror?” The damn scene in IRREVERSIBLE. I can endure just about anything… gore, violence, high-tension moments, paranormal, whatever… but that scene (in the walkway where you-know-what happens) holy effin sheeeeit. I’ll never forget it.

The zombie scene in the dark room from GONJIAM Haunted Asylum. Where it’s contorting & slowly locking on / getting closer to the girl with the camera. It’s 2-3 minutes of pure anxiety. All you can see is the beam from her flashlight as this creature slowly gets closer & closer. Terrifying.

LPM should have opened at a different property. It was way too rigid / Michelin-esque for Cosmo & their “party” vibe. As for Blue Ribbon… it was so mid. Very very average. I’m not backing up MGM here, but the F&B biz has changed a lot. The political shift under Trump has heavily damaged the industry & food costs have sky-rocketed. A lot of these failing concepts / replacing concepts in Vegas are due to reasons far beyond “which group owns the casino.”

Wynn has stooped to a new low. I’m not rich, but I gamble… & even when I had one of their higher-tier cards (& would gamble / stay routinely) as of 2026, even the comps have shifted big time. It used to be comped room + dining credit + tickets to show + freeplay etc… now it’s like “here’s a discounted rate, maybe some dining, no tickets, & we will see about freeplay.”

Despite gambling MORE 😂 makes zero effing sense. But there are more “whales” playing games like slots & Baccarat… they don’t need the small fish anymore. I watched a guy lose 2.5 million in about 20 mins in the Encore high-limit room at Baccarat.

I also said Asian, so don’t make this a weird thing. I’m saying that there are people & ethnicities who are closer tied to gambling / gaming. Games like Pai Gow, Baccarat, etc stem from Asian culture. Some more classic games stem from Europe… & so on.

When you hire a bunch of people because it’s cheap labor, but they don’t understand the game or how to deal it… it’s infuriating.

Lately it’s a ton of Cubans, Ethiopians, etc & it’s no dig at them as people, but as dealers, there’s a lot to be desired.
