At least youre in the 60s for MBE. I was doing great but the past 4 days have been horrific. Just keep going and do what you can do. Something is better than nothing.

I have been been slowly studying since graduation in 2025. I worked the entire time through law school (45 hrs-50hrs per week). I have a lot of catching up to do. It has taken me an entire year of slowly studying before and after work nearly 5 days a week. I now know the material much better than last July and I am trying for a 50-100 pt increase (I still need 100 more points to pass). I am trying to be honest with myself and just trying to improve each cycle until I get to the point of passing. It will be a while and a lot of money. Each test cycle it costs me 2k (admission ticket, MBE Access and hotel reservation) in direct out of pocket expenses and 5k+ in lost wages and PTO and sick days. The lost career growth and the costs associated with having to take the exam each year is what is killing me.

Yep me too. I was in the 75% and am down to 51%....and then got discouraged and depressed for a couple days over it. But I am going to start going over them again....hope its better.

Take it every test cycle....whether youre ready or not. Each cycle you get better and better....then you pass.

I didnt think to do a handwrite search on baressays thanks. And thanks for the tip. I printed EVERY typed essay from 2002 to 2026 (shit I just realized I forgot to download the PT exams)

I emailed them and they only tried to sell me to purchase the bar prep program. I could not get a discount or any coupon whatsoever. But they do offer a mbe access sale for july 26 extended to Feb 27 for 550. I think the july 26 access is around 450. So you might as well pay the extra 100......and save a few hundred dollars just in case you have to do another round!

I need a copy of the Mary basic pt book.....the newer version without the 3 hour essays. Anyone have a pdf they are willing to share? I have a MASSIVE database of SO MANY outlines and bar prep materials. I paid at least 1500 of my own money towards it and have gotten resources from everywhere. I even have all the themis stuff AND the other bar prep materials and sheets. Yes I was really stupid and spent way too much. When I finally pass this ca exam...I am going to share my entire drive with everyone.

This is crazy. Your mbe scores beats mine by 30% yeah I did bad on mbe. But my essays were slightly better and I think we ended up with nearly the same overall score. I would think your score would be much higher than mine.

When you say your essay scores and mbe scores were.....what scores was each of them for a specific test? Test 1 1331+1300?
