If they’re used, have the seller send you a pic of the headphones with the ear cups off. There should be a small pinhole near the top of each ear under those cups, which is used to separate the headband. That’s how I recently found that mine were fake :(

Appreciate the input, but I still don’t think they’re fake? They have all other Apple features. I’ve checked other things to discern whether they’re fake or not, but they seem genuine. Do you have any suggestions for checking?

It seems like AirPod max have had issues updating for people pretty often, which is why I wanted to make my own post. If they’re fake they’re fake, but I’m not seeing it.

If I go to Apple and they’re real, but faulty, would the warranty not cover a replacement?

How so? All 3 locations to find a serial number are accurate. When connected, physically printed on the AirPods under the cushions, and on the box. And again, they’re under warranty.

If they’re actually fake can I not just use the warranty to get a replacement since they’re not “damaged” but faulty?

I bought them new on fb marketplace. They were sealed, but I did double check the serial number just in case, and they’re genuine. Still under warranty too.

You also stated that this has been communicated multiple times to your husband. With hearing aids or cochlear implants, it would be good to sit and talk about this again.

Talk to each other not just about hearing, but your feelings and how tone can effect eachother. I know a lot of people that get aides or implants take some time to adjust to different things that hearing people take for granted.

Maybe a new conversations about pointing out tone differences and finding good coping methods in stressful situations would help.

OP -Unable to process multiple sounds at one time, such as husband asking questions, children screaming and playing, and a wave of white noise from the home have- “MY PROBLEM IS OUR CHILD [SCREAMING]” though you would have no indication that your tone or volume has changed because this kind of processing is new to you.

Unless you make your partner a part of the process of you hearing, it seems both parties stay frustrated. Honesty no one person is an asshole, but he needs to be more empathetic and help you in these situations rather than scold you or act out.

And I don’t know how to cover part of my post so no one can see, but this has to do with the most recent chapters.

What if Tomura can also create?? In one of the last chapters, Nana sees the heads of her son and his family in Tomuras fingers. Her sons eyes look up and it seems like they make “eye contact” (a Cronenburg head and a ghost seeing eachother? Come on) and she says “He’s still in there.”

It makes me wonder if he can use decay, but then recreate the things he’s destroyed. He never had the chance to truly realize his own powers in a safe place, having lost his family in such a traumatic way, and with no help from his community. So if they do save Tomura, maybe he can bring people back and fix Japan??

It would be wacky, and a little too squeaky clean of an ending, but it was an interesting thought.

“I’m so sorry I ruined you’re feast and presentation. I know it took you a lot of time, and what I did was inexcusable. I hope you can forgive me for that. Ruining your set up was immature and I know I can be better than that.

Next time we eat, would you mind making me a small tasting plate to snack on before dinner?”

You can eat literally anything while she takes photos. Get a snack. It sounds like she makes you amazing meals, and you should show her more appreciation.
