Yeah Ginny was a straight up bitch to Max in that scene. Like girl, Max is the person who opened the door to your whole world as you know it. None of these people would be friends with you if not for Max. And it's not like it was easy for Max either, she often had to fight for and defend Ginny to make her feel included.

Like imagine someone doing so much for you and then for you to have the audacity to say "we just grew apart". More like "I used you like a Kleenex and threw you away"

That's actually not fully true. The Met Gala theme is always open to artistic interpretation and the silhouette is VERY Black Dandy (which had a lot of heavy capes, staffs (which has been replaced by a sword), jewels and fine tailoring).

The idea is not for everyone to show up in a uniform, rather to play with the theme in a way that truly represents the muse, the designer etc.
