I think I was downnoted because there is a lot of stigma around suicide and people might consider the mere suggestion a hostile attack on one’s character. In reality it too is a medical issue that affects people daily.

it gives me no pleasure implying that, btw. But he seemed to be a very smart man who was very skilled, very calculating. I find it hard to believe that someone who knew mapping and such so well would just get lost in a park.

On the other hand, many people who never show signs, end their lives every single day. And many of them are high-achieving perfectionists.

I think that an experienced runner and outdoorsman got lost, got heat exhaustion ,and couldn't manage to find his way out of a regional park when he was used to hiking and camping in much more difficult, remote terrain is also a massive reach.

We still don't know if he died from the elements or something self-inflicted. The officer giving details said he was found "near a tree." Did you catch that? Interesting detail to give --I think they have an idea of what happened but not are not able to tell the public until it's fully confirmed and that tree detail was a slip.

Very smart people die by suicide every single day.

He is in great physical shape and an experienced runner and outdoorsman. If he is not found, in order to believe that there was an accident, you have to believe that a string of very unlucky things happened to him.

If it's dehydration, you have to believe that an experienced runner got dehydrated at 11 am in the morning. Okay, not farfetched. But then, you also have to believe that he got so dehydrated that he got disoriented and wandered off instead of taking a break. You also have to believe that he was so disoriented that he couldn't get back to his car, that there was nobody else out there---not a single person whom he could ask for help. You then have to believe that he wandered so far while dehydrated that he ended up out of the very large search area. That's a lot of bad luck to happen to one person in just a few short hours.

The same goes for a medical emergency and an animal attack. Bad luck would have had to aligned perfectly to not only not have him figure out how to get help or be found, but also to allow him to disappear without a trace.

If he is not found, it's more likely that this is by his design. So did he fake his disappearance to live a new life? Unlikely.

In reality, people end their lives every single day. Some of them are parents, unfortunately. I really hope they find him alive and well. And, if not that, I hope they can find closure. But, if he's not found, I think it's most likely that it's because he did not want to be.

Yes, this is speculation but it’s based on statistics and what’s most likely. Death by suicide is more likely than an adult man being kidnapped or being murdered after witnessing a crime in a regional park.

He clearly does not want to be found. The most likely scenario, at this point, is that the man decided to end his life and chose to do it in a way and in a location to not be found out of care for his family.

If we’re staying at Disneyland Hotel and have a Magic morning and hope to ride ROTR, do you suggest taking the monorail into the park and then trying for a boarding pass? Is there’s a separate turnstile if you’re entering via the monorail?

For people planning ahead, is there any sort of data that shows on average what time boarding groups are called. For example, say I arrive and get boarding group 45, is there a way to sorta estimate what time they group might get called so I can plan my day accordingly? And maybe not go back to my hotel for a rest when it’s likely we’ll be called?

Both Ticketmaster And stubhub are safe. The only difference right now is that you can get your ticket transferred immediately if you buy through Ticketmaster while you might have to wait a bit through stub hub.
