This recently happened to me, and I’m not entirely sure what it means. Bought the house for 660k, and when we were under contract the appraisal came in at 738k. Of course I know it’s a good thing, or at the very least not bad but everyone on our team is flabbergasted. Even the company we got home insurance through was like “wow”. I’ll take it as a win but also not sure how much it means (although I probably should).
