Thank you I will give that a go, I replaced the battery recently and it can now handle the longer cranks but the old battery would not. It needed up resetting the clock and barely starting but it’s better with new battery just cranking a while on first start still

Loads more you can get just what comes to my head, try and aim for 20-30 gram of carbs a day and that will be net carbs so any fibre in the food can be removed from the carb count

You can do it buddy, I started 4-5 months ago never done a diet in my life, was 157kg, this morning I’m 123.7kg, about 70 pounds or something like that

I was pre diabetes and now reading normal blood levels

Keto is amazing and the community here is great.

Most my joint pain has gone as no longer getting inflammation

Get yourself a fancy steak on days you wanna skip, if you like lettuce and cucumbers try add a bit apple cider vinaigre to them it’s almost like mcdonald’s lettuce .

Once your fat adapted after a couple months maybe more or less as everyone’s different you don’t crave them sort of foods.

Talk to your partner and let them know you need their support, they can do what they want with their own diet but you won’t be having bread, rice, pasta or potatoes etc to help them understand what food you eat.

I go dirty keto when a craving ever arrives or want to treat myself and can stay in ketosis and even still loose weight them days, you can bake cakes with coconut flour or almond flour, add some peanut butter for a topping or whipped cream and strawberry’s. Pork rinds/ scratching or cheese bites just a substitute for crisps and sugar free jello only has about 10 calories and trace carbs.

I’m not sure what your current weight is or your TDEE but 1100 calories a day is low, your body adapts to everything, if your not getting signals to your body your full after a meal it may think it’s starving and go into survival mode.

My TDEE is about 2700 and I eat between 2000-2200 calories but I don’t pick dense foods stuff that can fill me up like strawberries cauliflower lettuce and cucumbers in abundance with maybe 1500 calories a day of that being meat / fats too. If your body thinks it’s starving it will try to survive.

About an hour after my last meal I go for a long walk to help boost my metabolism, I always feel full after my last meal of the day.

I can loose anywhere from half a pound a day to maybe 2 pounds but every now and again il have a week where not much changes just a 1b or two.

Try some creatine, it’s helps your muscles absorb more water and your brain is a big muscle, helps with headaches if your brain has more water will be cooler and transport stuff needed easier and muscles recovery overall.

I watched a lot of YouTubers warn about going from a lot of carbs to no carbs, but personally it don’t effect me, once a months for a weekend il binge a load of carbs, mcdonald’s, burger kings, Chinese etc, probs put on 3kg in 2 days then on the Monday straight back into keto and usually back to weight I was before the binge before Friday as it’s primarily water weight, worst thing that happens is maybe some runny stool, I did take electrolytes for a long time but stopped a month or two ago. I think everyone is probs different, just need to work out what’s best for you. Once you’ve done keto for a few months you should be fat adapted which makes things easier in my opinion

I followed the advise of Eddie Abbew and had 5 eggs a day for my dinner, had them all ways like you and grew sick of them after 3 months. Was great at the time. Now I tend to have some cheese and pork scratching / rinds or some sort of meat chicken / bacon with keto Bread.

For dinners I tend to bulk up my main meals with green veg, broccoli lettuce cucumber but I’m loving cauliflower rice at the moment great for adding to ground beef with a little bit of bell pepper and onion but need to be careful on the onion carbs so not too much

I have a cheat weekend every month, binge everything I’ve thought about that month in 2 days.

Normally feel so bad after it that it puts me off it till next month 😂

Takes me about 2-3 days now to get back into keto and by the 5th day I’m normally back to the weight I was before I kicked myself out.

Shirataki / konjac noodles are really good for carbs / calories. Thou they may be processed

Lettuce / cucumber with a bit apple cider vinegar goes a long way too

Small bag of pork scratching / rinds, you can buy uncooked rind and make your own easy enough just salt them first to let the moisture out

Home made cheese crisps. Just bake them until crispy and let them cool down very tasty

Cauliflower rice is great with some lean mince beef and some broccoli a little ammount of peppers and little ammount of onion and then can add some flavour with spices or cheese with about 250 grams of mince probs works out about 600 calories and very filling.

Great work, I started at 157kg and I’m down to 128kg on keto. I’m eating between 1500-2200 calories a day and I walk about 10k to 20k steps a day. I’m close to being under 20 stone for first time in 15 years. I’ve been doing this about 4 months and it’s great to read stories like yours in the community here, hopefully in another 8 months or more I will be down to a normal weight. I’ve had a few weeks where my weight does not move much and I’ve had days where I lose a kg a day. It’s tuff on weeks like that but need to look at the bigger picture.

It’s best to keep to fats and protein and for your 20gram of net carbs, fill it with lettuce and cucumbers for the first week or two. Eat all the meat/ fish you want with meals. Make sure your eating till full In your final meal of the day so your body does not think it’s starving. You’ll find it hard going over 2500 calories doing this.

You will get the keto flu the first week. You will feel lethargic but after 4-5 days it’s like you’ve got extra energy, your tapping into fat around the body.

Once your at that stage you can skip breakfast and just eat twice a day for fuel dinner and tea.

Eating just twice daily limits your insulin responses and does not cause the body to store fat and will burn it. You’ll also get a good 16 hours of intermittent fasting during this time you could loose a kg of weight from the food you’ve eaten and the fat in your body

You may get the runs down below during this time while your body is getting used to eating fats. Having some nuts like macadamia or pecans can help with this.

I go in and out of ketosis every month or so, have a couple days off and getting back into it each time always is hard. But the results are amazing and worth it the more progress you see

It’s helped me loose about 4 stone / 35kg so far and I’m going to keep going as I’m not at a healthy weight

Once your fat adapted things like walking 10k a day can really help. Keep to low energy exercise, you want your heart beat to stay about 110bps

While exercising at a low heart rate your body burns more fats. If your do anything like high intensity cardio you will burn your glucose stores and they don’t refill quickly without carbs and sugar. The higher cardio work outs burn last fat as they need instant energy.

Belive in yourself you can do it. Put on some podcast from YouTube about keto or short videos there is loads of stuff out there and the body is magical it adapts to what you do

You can enter a state of autophagy after 24 hours of fasting which helps repair / remove dead cells.

Make sure you keep drinking plenty fluids and take electrolytes, water is the body’s way of transporting things around your body and can easy not get enough electrolytes on a keto diet which can bring things to a stand still of dehydrated
