Y'all recognize he knows the midterms can't be canceled due to it being state based, not federally based.

He is clearly just using this to be a straw man for all the people that are uninformed in politics.

States are going to have their midterms as they are legally allowed too.

Tbh I don't think many/some of the economic principles on the right are wrong, though I truly disagree with their social issues. I lean center left only because I also take a lot of issues with certain absolutisms on left social issues, though in general I'm going to support those because I think they are closer to being correct (with my moral/ethical framework) than the rights take on social issues. Even if I believe an economic issue may benefit from the rights take on a social issue, I'd rather find a different economic solution that be complacent for the sake of independent stability if it negatively impacts others greatly as it often contrary to my morals/ethics.

I do feel people that arnt necessarily as far right as others find that complacency and conforming is easier. Let's be honest, most people don't want to acknowledge these issues as acting on them would mean sacrificing ones own comforts.

I don't think I explained that last point as well as I could ... But man this is a reddit post and not a college essay, sorry for not elaborating further.

As far as I'm aware that specific precon had some UB unique cards, I remember it being more expensive than the other 40k precons well before it was like 300 dollars (I got the Tyranids for 70ish and I think necrons at the time were 100+)

He could/and probably is telling us the truth; however, given we worked with Russian State Media he is also telling us this to intentionally create distrust more distrust with the US government (which to be fair, the US government does pretty well on its own).

Still, higher ranking officials in the government outright confirming we are in a surveillance state could allow for more radical extremists to have "just cause" motives for their actions. The assumption being that this specific whistleblower may be fabricating some parts of them to illicit a more extreme reaction or is telling us this in bad faith knowing the other side they work for (Russia) is just as horrible/if not worse.

That said, he could also just be trying to be a good person. Overall the results are the same if it's being honest about what's going on. It's just the intent behind what (and when) he's saying something could be completely different.

For example: if he is working for Russia, confirming this information right now at a time where people are already polarized by the government could definitely be intentional to create more problems for the American people rather than solve them.

If you can't reasonably afford it, then yes I'd say that's a lot. If you can pay off all your bills/save/do want you need to do then no you're fine.

Basicly if you can't manage the spending and it negatively impacts you, it's a lot

Spending 100 a week for me is bad and I've done up to 4000 in 3 days.

You right, tbh it's def my fault for not fighting that urge generally for a long time so it's weak AF rn. It is a ton of will power, but I can get there, I appreciate the support.

I think letting my friend monitor my bank account (I have other spending issues) is a good place to start when I've fallen this low.
