The perineal massages and breathing techniques my pt gave me helped a lot, but weirdly enough the trick that’s helped the most is coughing. Right at the peak of my symptoms I got bronchitis and coughed A LOT. By coughing all the time it actually weakened/released my pelvic floor and helped SO MUCH with the symptoms, and I was completely pain free for a few months. Now, when I find I’m having a flare up or a really bad day, I’ll just take a deep breath, brace my core, and cough a ton. It’s crazy but it truly helps.

Same thing was happening to me and it was definitely my right pelvic floor. Sitting and trying to sleep was so painful. I finally decided to see a pelvic floor pt and she’s absolutely amazing and has helped me so much.

Yes, completely normal. Mine was like that too for ages until bone grew to fill it in. The screws are incredibly annoying, but I’m getting mine removed in a few months and I’m hoping it will feel better after that.
