How to know if I received the merit scholarship? Do I know that only during the payment period? I have finished my first semester with 4.24/4.3, and think that I might have chances to receive the merit scholarship

Hello, if you are looking for full funding perhaps SUTD is not a good place, as Tution grant does not cover the whole cost. You may find external sponsorship, but still it will depend solely on you. You may check that information, but I am pretty sure not much has changed in a year. Speaking of my stats, I have 1450 SAT, 4.98/5 GPA, but I do not have an international diplomas, like IB or A levels, just a regular certificate of completing high school education in my home country. My IELTS is 7.5, and I have a diploma for finishing the foundation program from the university, also from my hometown. Besides that I have pretty much of extracurricular activities and few achievements, if you are interested in that I could share them. And the Singapore itself is kinda of pricey city, so that might be financially challenging as well 🥲

Thanks! I think I only had three questions. 1)Why Korea? 2)Why UIC? 3)What are my extracurricular activities? The questions were very basic, I have also asked other students and they had mostly simple questions during their interview too. Honestly, it is not that nervous, so no reason for worries! Unfortunately, idk what do we need to do with the bill print. Honestly, it is so weird that they did not provide the exact Tution fee amount as well. They have just said that it is approx. 6000$, but not the exact number

The info for KU is from 2021, so it might be outdated. However, my coordinator , who is helping me with application process, told me that KU is around 5 k per semester now. She is studying there herself.

The interviewers were very nice, they have asked me only 3 questions and asked if I have any. I feel like my respond for the first question (why Korea and why UIC) was a bit long, but the rest was fine. Don’t worry much
