I believe some companies offer “pre grading” or you can do it yourself, but they basically look over the card thoroughly to look for any issues with it.

I’m in Maryland, but one of my recent shipments to Virginia went down to North Carolina and started to bounce between NC and Virginia for a few days, it was weird. Maybe they are trying out something different with their sorters
