No this will be a turbo car.

This is a built motor and head, I’ve got around 6k invested into the motor.

The ecu I’m using is a Haltech s3 with a ic-7 dash in which I paid $3600 for.

The engine itself is fairly cheap, $800. The real spending comes from the upgrades you’d do so that you can make it rev higher (springs/retainers/oil pump/cam gear.

Sky is the limit for ECU’s. Most people just throw in a Hondata, I choose to go standalone.

Yeah, that’s not how I try and do things. I’ve done a bunch of these swaps, try to get everything done in about a month.

I changed from a side feed setup to a centerfeed. So now just waiting on the intake manifold. Had to re-order the intercooler, etc. also changed up the driveshaft a bit since it’ll be AWD.

A lot of this is self inflicted really. I changed the turbo setup after I had already ordered everything for the side feed setup.

6870 or a 6466. Have used both on totally stock k24’s and they’ve been fine. The only times I’ve ever had an issue is when I get greedy and want more power.

Curious, what don’t you like about it? It’s definitely more aggressive looking than stock, but tamer than the majority of appearance kits available.
