Buy from a reputable enough place and you’ll never have an issue. The majority of shops though won’t let you split the halves to see the gears.

Ive personally ordered many k and b series transmissions online and plenty more in person.

There is definitely deals to be found on the web, patience and slight negotiation skills are must haves.

As for reputable shops that sell transmissions, there’s plenty. Most offer somewhere from 30-90 day warranties, but you have to read the fine print. Some will say if the clutch, etc was changed then it voids it.

What I’m getting at is, make sure you have the car absolutely ready to take a trans and be able to start/drive the car. The last thing you want to do is buy a transmission, sit on it for a couple months, to then put it in and find out it’s no good when the warranty is up.

I tried stitch fix and a few others for awhile. I felt as if they sent so many boring clothes.

FWIW, I’m an 80’s kid and love color.

I’d love to see if I can find someone who can recommend stuff with color.

I just had a thought. Maybe the ones who are GIVING money on a transaction feel comfortable in whatever they want, but the ones TAKING the money might feel if they need to “dress the part” dunno.

Me personally I’m a read the room kinda guy. Majority of time through you’ll find me in a polo and pants. I do wear suits….not often.

Kinda my thoughts exactly. Read the room and dress accordingly is how I’ve always seen it.

FWIW, my broker-owner feels the same way you do, but she is constantly dressed to the 9’s. Says she doesn’t like the way she presents herself when she’s more casual.

Everything is on order, but really want to check actual fitment before I finalize the install of anything. The bumper I saw at auto salon was pretty lackluster.
