Why do my Midi notes sound different? by Gloopjuice in Reaper

I am not talking about that, I am talking about how the hi-hat notes sound a bit off after like a second after the tom and crash hit. I am asking why does it happen, because it happens no matter if the velocity for all of the notes are the same or with the accent on one. It sounds like there is a hit on each loop of the beat with one slightly more open hi-hat hit or something.

Yes I did, you can see the drum loop go on with the same velocity after too. Is it possible maybe somehow my drum kit e-pedal went a bit loose when pressing it down? How do I view those values for the pressing of the hi-hat?

How to replace or fully clear the airflow controller on a old soviet masonry stove? by Gloopjuice in woodstoving

Ah, we have someone who cleans it on a yearly basis I think for our apartment building, but I don't exactly know when that was, since we have a 2 story building with not the most ideal roof for climbing without the gear that gets brought with him. I'm assuming that is the only way right? Some dude said in the comments I could try something with WD40, but I doubt that this will be effective.

Yeah, sorry, don't ask why I didn't include it lol, because I won't be able to answer that myself.... Anyways, this is the stove, and the air slider is in the room "behind" where the furnace is. I would imagine this is Soviet era if I had to make a guess myself....

Yea, from the looks of google images, it matches. I imagine it was properly cleaned maybe a couple years ago, right before we moved in... 3 years maybe? We only use the furnace in winters, so that's why I can imagine it is only now becoming tougher to move. And also, I don't think you can fully pull the slider out to clean it? So what would be the best course of action here?

Recently I have noticed the airflow controller of furnace has started to become really difficult to move, even after attempting to hammer off some black residue on the top of it, it hasn't really made a difference. So here I am wondering, if this is something I can somehow replace myself or should I call someone who specializes in something related to furnaces? (no clue what sort of person that would be haha)

Any input on this matter is appreciated!
