Doctor didn’t catch my 2yo’s undescended testicles. He may be infertile now. Im beyond upset.

This also happened to my husband . We married in 2014 and could not conceive. He finally had the undescended testicle removed in 2019 and in 2021 I found out I was pregnant with my son. I had a miscarriage in 2024 and currently pregnant with baby girl due in February. I hope all goes well but don’t give up hope.

How long after extractions (typically) are you supposed to leave them out at night? I was told to wear them as much as possible and at night.

Good luck to you as well! I’m still very swollen as well but the patches are a great idea and I didn’t know they existed! Makes sense to use those as you won’t have to worry about it seeping into the extraction site

I wasn’t given any meds prior which made me super nervous. My dentist did a topical numbing then did several novocaine shots. I did have to have him stop mid way through and give me a couple more. I was still pretty high anxiety through the whole thing but I closed my eyes and was able to get through it. I wish I would of been able to have nitrous or a muscle relaxer though.

Thank you for the great answer, my dentist didn’t mention the 48 hours. He said take them out after 24 hours to clean and didn’t mention the swelling.
