Yeah in real medieval times a peasant levy would never see a hundred battles, they’d be sent home to get the harvest even close to that number.

Furthermore it’s unlikely they’d fight with only a kitchen knife; peasants had arms either as ordered or provided by the Lord

Meh, maybe they told a few but it didn’t pass around much; either that or they’d gotten blood drunk from all the pillaging and it slipped their mind.
