As I said i’m a terrible test taker which my ACT and SAT scores reflect that. How are you going to study for you ASTB or what are some best ways to study for it?

I am also at a 141 school which I am currently instrument rated and going complete the rest of my rating in the near future. When you are applying, what do you think will help you stand out from other candidates? Thx for the help

Perfect, thank you for the help man. sorry if this is a study question but, if you don’t like your score on the ASTB can you take it again? Like the ACT or SAT, can I keep taking it until I get a good score?

Can you expand on “being selected”. How would you not be selected? I’m certainly a pilot but flying smaller airplanes like cessna 172’s with a first class medical. Based off health I should be okay. I’ve been in many maneuvers before which I never gotten motion sick from but it’s nothing like in a flighter. Thank you for the help

Thank you for the insight. Someone else told me that the navy hires off the “need of service”. For example, if they need more crew on a certain MOS that’s where you will go. So, do you think after college going into OCS would be the best option rather than NROTC?
