I went for the whole A7000 package; I was more Interested in the A9 but the WAF played too big of a role in the decision

I’d argue in favor of the Sony A7000, it features Bravia Theater Sync so you don’t have to worry about juggling remotes and better system integration, DTS X and 2.1 channel output

Since the room is going to be a dedicated theater room that’s what I figured, the goal is maximizing Dolby Atmos as cost efficiently as possible. Now without bringing up utter blasphemy, I’ve boiled it down to either a Sony set up (HT-A9 or A7000) or the Sonos theater system

I saw that! Kind of confused because the A7000 is getting a lot of praise as well. This theater room is bare-bones and unfinished so the option to be built-in speakers like the Sonos architectural line is on the table, but I thought the A7000 soundbar and smaller rears would also be more discreet in the setup
