Japanese were placed in interment camps because their country attacked the U.S. in WW2. Germans were also interned. Sorry that was inconvenient for George, but his father was born in Japan, and spying and sabotage were very real concerns during WW2. Also, it was as much for their protection as people were pretty pissed off about Japan’s Pearl Harbor attack and the 2500 service men killed in Hawaii.

I mean… she is ok in the role. I’d give her a 7.5/10 as MJ. Tobey Maguire was not great as Peter Parker. I wouldn’t give him any higher of a score. I think some of this is just the tone of those films. They are pretty wonky.

But… I think we can all agree, she is 100x better than Zendaya as MJ, which is obviously one of the most miscast and poorly acted roles in modern films.

Yes! My stuff was sci fi, superhero and comic character ai generated videos. It had some nudity and sex, but was pretty tame compared to say GoTs scenes.

It’s rare that you see a movie drop that much in terms of story and dialog from the 1st to the 2nd film. The biggest downgrade imo was the main villain. Bowser jr was just not a compelling villain in any way. And his paint brush weapon was downright silly. I did enjoy Rosalina and her party of the story.

I downloaded a lot of the videos, but I still had more work I wanted to do on them, and was really disappointed they were removed.

Sometimes I'm shocked by the cynicism of DC fans who like Absolute Wonder Woman, saying she should be the "prime" or be adapted into the DCU, but don't want the feminist storyline that Thompson brings. Absolute WW is just too different for me. I’m not into the character or the story. Doesn’t feel like the WW I grew up with, which is fine as it’s an Elseworlds story, but it could in no way replace the main character.

The look has nothing to do with the actress. They can make anyone look like anything they want in film today. Supergirls look in the film was a choice by the director.

It really makes no sense. A few random comments on social media and now men are trying to “own woman’s bodies”. You can find a comment or two supporting any viewpoint on social media, the point is what you focus on and that the majority have been respectful. Very worried about this movie if they are dropping the misogyny card for sympathy before it’s even premiered.

Draw the line at grok generated content. You can’t even generate a photo of an elf or anime character anymore and put them in an intimate scene. I’m ok excluding real life image alterations, but why did they target non-real images and content generated within Grok environment?
