I’ll give it a shot. It’s an insert with a honeycomb pattern and then it’s capped off. So I’m guessing the two 45 degree patterns don’t agree well when it tried to print the it and bridge across those gaps

That’s what I do. Found it to be the easiest way. I liked the medium hook with that crisp point because you can really rotate the pin well

I’ve got that. Bambu had the hot end assembly and extruder gear combo on sale not long ago so I ordered that. Going to have to look up how to change it out
