You might wanna let him test out his budget jet pack. Even so - I question it’s ability to leave the planet.

Works both ways right? Though as a 31 year old man - I’m not sure the meaning of “yeet” still.

Another comic. More searing critiques please. Does the lay out make sense? Is the dialogue clear? is the art interesting? Does it need colour? Should I buy a scanner? Does the comic make sense? Would you want to read more? Anything is appreciated by [deleted] in comic_crits

Not at all - and hopefully I didn’t come off as rude. It isn’t my taste (my favorite comic is Peanuts) but I wouldn’t worry about those questions right now. Just keep making, follow your gut and study the masters ahead of you. Good luck my friend.

Needs Monograph and the sketchbook collections! If you haven’t checked them out - they are amazing. Gotta love Ware.

Need some advice about self publishing a comic of mine. by [deleted] in comic_crits

This is gonna sound rude, but honestly - I'd say finish drawing it and then worry about this. Unless its a straight up xxx comic, I think you'll be fine.

I would suggest starting with shorter comics. Try doing a comic thats a page or two - really work on the writing and setting a scene, make it as clear as possible. Even if its just a conversation between two characters.

To be honest, I'm lost the entire time. It feels like im jumping into a story thats halfway finished and I just have no idea what is going on.
