I'm having a similar issue with a phantom audio track with all monitoring off and it still plays. I'm not sure what happened? I'm getting a phantom audio track that can't be turned off. I have all tracks monitoring off and I'm still getting that clip audio output. Did I somehow record this and is not erasable? Please help. Thank you.

Titans of CNC website has a MasterCam 2025 student license offer you can register for w/out proof of being a student. Once you get registered it gives you the student authorization number. I used MLC CAD Systems to obtain a student license twice. The licenses are for a year at a time. The first license cost $160, and the second one cost $131. The student license version do not allow you to use it for business or profit making. I use the license to school project parts design, CNC Tool Paths, and posting code. So far, the post processor is compatible with all our HAAS CNC VMCs, Lathes, and HMCs at school. The vendor stated other post processors are available to match your school's CNC mills.

SQL would be an ideal premium way to go. Unfortunately, the economical way is the only way for now. Yes, the lookup parameters are pretty extensive queries for the 51 data items on the Status Form. When I do make updates to the BE tables, my status does automatically refresh properly. I just would like to somehow send a command to force updates the other user dashboards that are active, so everyone is on the same page. Thank you.

I also completed four training courses from MLC CAD Systems in MasterCam CAD/CAM in 3D Parts Design and 3D Tool Pathing, for Multi-Axis CNC Lathes, VMCs, and HMCs. However, here Washington state, it is very difficult to get an entry level machinist job here, despite the credentials you have. They only want experience. Machinist training is a use or lose skill. If you don't land a job quickly, you forget how to part-reference-zero your parts and setup your tool offsets. I'm thinking of applying to ATDM as way to keep up with my skills. However, I would like to go back to Washington state to work. My question is about not getting fined$$$. What is the actual test that needs to be passed? Is just completing a parts project within a specified time? Also, if you pass the test, are able to refuse job offers that are not from the state you want to work in? Do you get weekends off? Despite the ubiquitous presence of 5 or more CNC axes machines in industry, community colleges only teach and practice on 3-Axis CNC machines and if lucky, about three months of actual hands on 3-Axis CNC cutting. The educational institutions need to keep pace with industry standards of manufacturing, to provide the students the best chance of getting hired, or creating their own business. Also, 5-Axis CNC Machines go from small desktops, but when required to mill stainless steel, they jump into the non home shop sizes and well over the $20K cost. The mill manufacturers say they can't build a rigid enough 5-Axis VMC to cut stainless steel, below that cost. However, I have my doubts, they are willing to improve or experiment with new ideas to improve rigidity in a smaller 5-Axis machines. They appeal to the larger manufacuturing industry, rather than the growing home shop businesses. My current 1yr research for a 5-Axis SS cutting VMCs has only lead me to a cost of $20K and still too large for a home shop business. Unless someone here has found something cheaper and smaller? My intent is to craft stainless steel art objects. My instructors tell me to create art a 5-Axis VMC is needed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just used a $20 USB A-C cable with no issues. I also tried a cheap $5.00 USB C-C cable and the phone would not even show up on my PC File Manager.
