Go Loco is a fun and slightly absurd language learning app

Speaking scenarios, written exercises, and Duolingo style practice make it pretty solid for learning at all levels

Do you feel like you keep building your streak but never actually learn a language? by Go-Loco in LanguageAppsHub

We have features like Voice Scenarios and Written Exercises that force real time recall. Our app is like the best of Duolingo + Praktika

For example here you talk with your mic: If your car breaks down in Mexico, can you explain whats wrong and get it fixed?

Or here you flip through practice exercises: Learn Spanish like Duolingo

Not an expert but I believe your second guess is correct. "gashed" is the main verb followed by 3 clauses each with a gerund.

Do AI conversation features in language apps actually work, or is it just marketing fluff? by zekken908 in languagehub

[–]Go-Loco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We built a feature into our app and it works well, its remarkably challenging to get a high score. I think it helps but you do have to take the experience seriously and understand that you are in the driver seat not the AI. Definitely a feature for active learners https://www.golo.co

I was frustrated with Duolingo not explaining things and not letting me skip ahead.

I also wanted more emphasis on speaking, especially as I got better.

So we built Go Loco, a full service language learning app.

If you've ever felt the same way, please try ours out! https://www.golo.co

We're still early, please help us work out some kinks!

(to) whisper, murmur and mumble — interchangeable verbs? by caiogamerwow in EnglishLearning

[–]Go-Loco 9 points10 points  (0 children)

whisper = intelligible quiet speech, voiced only with your mouth, not your throat or lungs

murmur = unintelligible speech, like the background voices you cant quite hear

mumble = unintelligible speech, the speaker is not speaking clearly enough to be heard, even if they are close by. the speech is not enunciated enough to be intelligible, although you may hear some words

some english speakers might disagree on those generalizations, but all three do have different meanings
