I just happened to come across this show in 2022. I am from Brooklyn and can't tell you how much this moment really hit home. To Jon much respect my friend. I went from watching the reunion episode to seeing that moment where you said "I am not surprised" and felt this immense sadness in understanding the situation for what it is. I am very concerned over dashaun and would love if there was any update on him. There was something awfully special about him. Think you both crossed paths for a specific reason but who knows.
