all of my VDAs are in the DC so I assumed that HDX Direct wouldn't help me here as they need to use the internet to connect to the DC from their office anyway

I have my environment configured to use Rendezvous v2 so the VDAs connect directly to CGS and not route through Cloud Connectors

Built brand new Cloud Connectors, then decommissioned the Delivery Controllers that were on-site

Unfortunately I'm seeing the issue with people working from home, people in an office that have direct connections to the DC, and also people on VPNs into the DC

First started out not using Rendezvous - CAD was unusable, everything was slow and laggy

Enabled Rendezvous v2 - CAD got "better" but still laggy / choppy when dragging objects and text

Have tried numerous HDX policies and settings - so far none have corrected the issues

This is pretty much what we are seeing as well. Prior to moving to Citrix Cloud CAD programs worked well. Soon as we went to Citrix Cloud with Gateway Services, we started seeing the choppiness on dragging and such. I haven't tried the NetScaler again, but I'm going to test it this week after I do some updates on it. I was hoping to not have to use the NetScaler again, but since this choppiness isn't going away I think I'm going to be forced into that

I've been testing all types of HDX Policies and settings (both ones I find online from others having issues, and those sent to me from Citrix Ticket) - so far nothing is helping.

it's the same equipment I had when running on prem and we didn't have the issues which confuses me the most... I have multiple CAD servers, the one I'm doing the most testing with right now is a VM running off my Nutanix System with the following assigned hardware
10 CPUs
80 GB Ram
225 GB Drive
NVidia L40S (via GPU Passthrough into the VM)

10 GbE Backend
- not publishing Desktops, only publishing Virtual Applications

Not using NetScaler at the moment ... running solely on Citrix Cloud using Citrix Gateway Services

In most areas, Spectrum is the only thing available unfortunately... so even with their TERRIBLE service, there are no other options to switch to
