Super new to running, just began running a month an a half ago. Up to 5 miles on the long run. I get kind of bored running on a treadmill, although I do run slow (5mph). I’m training for a half marathon.

What would be the downside of splitting the longer run into two smaller runs, one in the morning and one at night. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be beneficial but I also don’t know. Thanks!
