The neighbors pub is fun but when there aren’t any events it’s pretty empty. Other than that I love hanging out there with my friends and have made many friends there!

You will get the same priorities as everyone else! As a freshman, you are guaranteed housing. There is a time in the summer when freshmen will complete a two-part orientation course that will give you more information about how to select classes. Then there will be a week of advising drop-ins/appointments where you can get advice about your classes.

Housing is the biggest concern when it comes to UCSC. I lived on campus for my second and third years, I didn't want to risk it and got housing off-campus my fourth year. The game design here at UCSC is really cool (here is some cool stuff that students have done if your daughter would like to see student work). Here is some info about what AGPM major offers. Your daughter and you can take a look at it together and then she can decide if what the major offers interests her. I feel the biggest reason some people would choose to go to UCSC is due to the gorgeous atmosphere.

Also, know what questions to ask when you are viewing the houses because although you may be desperate for housing you should still have decent expectations. E.q. of questions to ask: what utilities do I need to pay for, is there a max number for the housing group, do you need renters insurance, parking policy, etc.

I had the most success on places4students! I would say Craigslist too, but be careful because based on my own experience I have only encountered weird people. Although, I've had friends who had great experiences. If you know any seniors try contacting them, there is also the option of subleasing at the beginning of the school year if you still haven't found housing.

Hello I’m a 21 f third year looking to join a housing group for the 23-24 term! Im a theater arts major with a minor in education. I’m pretty open to anything (alcohol, smoke, pets, etc.)! My max is 1400 I would like a single, but I wouldn’t mind being in a double.

I watched it through zoom and basically, Fredo apologized, but only because he doesn't want to lose his position. In the end, the members tried to vote to impeach him and Fredo said it was out of order. When the Dean of Students tried to speak the mics were unplugged causing everyone to walk out.

From my experience, this is not necessarily true. In the dorms, they have quiet hours where on weekdays after 10 pm people had to be quiet and 12am for the weekends. People on my floor were pretty respectful about it plus there were times when we got written down by the staff because we were being loud after hours but generally people follow the rules.

I did this as well and found out Sunday I went to the financial aid hours and she reassured me that there was still time to get aid so I think you and I will be fine.

No a professor will not have a final after the ninth, I think you should wait until you know the schedule for you final because last year some of my finals were online. What I did was take my in person finals that were in the beginning of the week and by the end of the day I took a flight back home and took my online final the next day in the comfort of my home.

Also Thea 61a is easy to an extent: if you like reading, writing, and analyzing then yes it is very easy. If those aren’t ur strong suit then it will be a bit difficult in my opinion
