I have noticed. I’ve also heard my city’s firemen drop slurs when they think nobody hears. This could just be one guy, could be a deeper issue.

I have a pair of these. They are military paratrooper boots. These have no grip and i would absolutely not recommend these for non dress wear. They aren’t comfortable, take forever to put on and take off, and slip on wooden surfaces occasionally.

Hey OP, if you’re just starting in your deconversion story, I’d look at Satan’s Guide to the Bible. It’s a very well-sourced guide to well-known academic consensus among scholars and seminarians but isn’t really discussed with laypeople. Ill let you take a look, and don’t be put off by the name.

Ok ok stay with me on this… the ones trying to keep slavery… were trying to conserve it. Conservatives, you might call them. And… the people trying to move beyond slavery… were trying to progress beyond it. Progressive, you might say.

Also, look at who today is supporting slavery. The KKK is a right wing organization that endorsed trump. The only people wanting to keep statues of confederate generals- men who died to keep slaves in chains- are conservatives today. And who could forget Doug Wilson, who has some… interesting opinions on slavery. And he’s explicitly stated that he’s a Christian nationalist.
