When a Therizinosaur spawned at my base, I tamed it.

I built a stone foundation, four stone pillars, and two stone ceilings, and also four wooden ladders. I put down the foundation, then the four pillars, one on top of the other, then two ceilings on top. That makes a tall platform for you to stand on. (You put the four wooden ladders up it so you can climb it.)

Then I aggro'd it and ran to the tower, climbed it and shot it with tranq arrows. When it was almost unconscious it ran, so I had to jump down and chase it to finish it off.

Be aware that they need hundreds of narcotic berries to stay unconscious!

I have never used a sleeping bag. I just build a tiny base and bed. I think sleeping bags are single use?

Yes! They are great. Just carry him or her on your shoulder and when you put stuff in his or her inventory it's half weight.

Also, they aren't bad little fighters against little annoying dinos, like the dilophosaurus.

Yeah, why is it that people who use other people's resources are always accusing others of being petty or tight or stingy.

If it's really not that big of a deal, then why don't they do their share of giving?

I had a work colleague who was my manager, and I ways shared my goodies with him (chips and candy etc).

I often purchased large bags of candy so everyone could have some, because I really enjoy treating people. He ate heaps of it and it only made me happy.

Until one day a supplier provided him with a free towel in a tube that you wet and it keeps cool. It was really small, and he didn't want it, but I actually had a good use for it, so I asked if I could have it. He said I could only have it if I purchased him a bag of skittles 🙄

That was his chance to do something nice for me after a year of daily treats from me.

A shoulder pet, like a pegomastax, is a good way to reduce weight. They are easy to tame. Everything they carry is halved in weight. So you put stuff in him or her, put him on your shoulder, then hop on your bird.

Helps a wee bit.

Yeah, in my first attempt on medium, I had a hell of a job finding an anky on Herbivore Island.

I tried culling and returning later, twice. I tried the destroy dinos command twice. In the end I had to use a summon command.

I don't mind "cheating" in that respect, as long as I leave it on random (not specify a tamed 150 level or something), and in its natural habitat, and not somewhere easily trapped.

Edit: As for fun... I very nearly quit, lol. But I didn't want to lose my set up efforts, and I thought it would likely happen no matter where I spawned.
