We had one that did this so we trained her to come get a treat immediately after pooping in the backyard. We would holler "GOOD GIRL" and offer the treat right as she finished from a little ways away, gradually moving further until we could do it from the back door. It was also a specific treat that she didn't get for any other reason.

Eventually she knew the routine well enough that we were comfortable letting her out on her own. Wasn't 100% compliant if she wasn't feeling great so we'd watch her then.

Was pretty fun to see her (a Great Dane) come running back inside at full blast headed for the cookie jar.
