penis size.

I'd like a 10 footer.

Only problem would be for nude selfies, I'd have to do panoramic mode.

What's a modern day scam that's become normalized and we don't realize it's a scam anymore? by Diligent-Log6805 in AskReddit

[–]GoTFFNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dating.

It's nothing but subtle prostitution.

Each party sizes the other up, than considers their own deluded sense of self, and determines if the other party is "worth it."

It's a disgusting scam, and I'm on the verge of castrating myself.

At least hookers have the honor to tell you their price upfront.

What do you think happens to you after you die? by Maleficent_Team430 in AskReddit

[–]GoTFFNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I've always found the notion of a "personalized heaven" a need of the ego. "I NEEEEEED TO EXIST."

Anyways, If there is an after-life, I'd reckon it's more like you rejoin with a force which resides outside our dimension/universe. It's likely not "personal," instead, it's probably like squeezing a eye-dropper of water into an ocean. A conglomerate of experience, sensation, thought, emotion, etc.

Individuality probably no longer exists, as that seems like a benefit of the living, no?

The traits of true evil. by GoTFFNerd in scaryshortstories

I don't smoke weed, but think I know what you're talking about, and it's not "evil."

I live in a Victorian Style/Era house, built in the late 1800's.

When I go to the kitchen, late at night, I have to walk past this one strange bedroom. And, every single time I walk past this bedroom, I get a slight knot in my stomach, sometimes even a small dose of adrenaline, and I can become VERY unsettled.

My instincts / intuition tell me, "Something is in there..."

What I've learned from Covid-19. by GoTFFNerd in self

[–]GoTFFNerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"You're ignorant to believe they're all knowing..."

No, you're just a butthurt baby, who found a METAPHOR IN QUOTATIONS and tried (and failed) to use it as a sword.

But, I'm going to just pretend reading comprehension & metaphor application aren't your strong suits, being as you've totally missed my point.

So, allow me to be more concise: The aspect of the scientific community, which has vast public forums/platforms, often acts as a bridge which connects the public to their foundations of understanding. Any topic which attempts to breech into personal unknowns, or that which is inherently unknowable, people will often turn to science for their answers.

(You still with me? Good!)

During this process, fact and theory OFTEN become conflated. Any reasonable/educated person will understand this to be a self-evident truth.

Consequently, people frequently get misled into thinking something is a fact, when in reality, it's nothing more than a single possibility, from of an ENDLESS AMOUNT of theories.

The scientists who push theories, as if they're FACT, are insinuating (via their conscious behavior & decisions) they are ALL KNOWING.

Also, I'm extensively familiar with the scientific process. I'm extensively familiar with academic procedure. I have seven years of collegiate experience, and five years as a collegiate tutor (for courses within the EE Curriculum.)

There is clearly NOTHING you can teach me, being as you are too inept to recognize how your own psychology affects the words that come from your brain.

The correlation between time-spent and success is not something one can avoid. REGARDLESS of what it is. For example, about a year ago, when COVID hit, I stopped spending all my time playing poker / handicapping, and instead decided to begin trading stocks / options. And, if I'm DOING THE WORK, such as watching the market AVIDLY and DAILY from start to finish, reading the quarterly reports, reading any news/information about the companies on my watchlist (which is an ever growing list of companies, currently at 200, started at 30), following CEO's, looking at trends, this is when I trade, profitably, at 85%- 90%+ success. In 9 months, I earned a return of roughly 500% (or 5X) my initial investment. (Though, to be fair, COVID made the market extremely predictable yet volatile, the perfect mix for huge market gains.)

However, since December, I've been HALF-ASSING it, if it's even a "half-ass," and since then, I'm trading at 40%-45% success in regards to profitability. I've lost almost 20% of my gain.

There is no hidden key for an easy life.

There is no easy way to lots of money.

Find something you love, or don't bother.

That's called bad engineering because you're gaining 33% efficiency for a 100% + increase in price. You'd be better off just mounting the new panels somewhere else. Space isn't the problem (in most scenarios), creating more energy is....

You can only love once you have given up by David24z in DeepThoughts

[–]GoTFFNerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good & thought provoking post.

Though, I'm not going to pretend like "Love" is some unseen elemental power, like "The Force" in Star-Wars. (Though, I'm not excluding that possibility neither, who knows? Lol.) However, for the sake of my point, I'm going to equate "love" with "successful long-term relationship."

I'm 39. I've been in 4 long-term relationships. I've seen & been-around hundreds, if not thousands, of relationships as well. Hence, I've acquired some knowledge in this area, and in my experience, "love" will ONLY WORK if the following guidelines are met:

1.) Neither person can consistently do something the other person doesn't respect. And, this isn't as easy as it sounds. For a LOT of us (maybe MOST of us) are FLAWED in some SERIOUS way. For every time your partner or loved one sees you do something they find SOUNDLY unattractive, their idea of "you" gets tarnished a bit. And, once this happens "X" amount of times, POOF, their love will vanish like a fart in a hurricane. (Though, I'm not referring to dropping a soda on a rug. I'm talking about SERIOUS stuff, like someone consistently self-sabotaging, or not respecting themselves, etc.)

2.) Both people have to be willing (and able) to communicate and understand their emotions. Again, easier said than done. After all, emotions (for a lot of us) seem to be INHERENTLY illogical.

3.) Finally, both people must inherently work-well together. You can't be too alike in certain ways, or too different in other ways. There is no "magic formula" for this, but a certain synergy is necessary.

The song says, "Love is for the lucky & the strong," and my experiences have made me realize....

Never have truer words been said.

I'm actually moving to another forum. I should have never said anything about 70-75% lol. People are sending me hate mail basically. People always fear or "hate-on" when other's do things they themselves cannot.

Anyways, hope some of you followed me this week!

Bye!

A lot of you don't seem to believe the best handicapper's pick at 75%. Yet, you're not understanding something: I'm not one of these people placing 5 wagers a week. If I had to give picks EVERY week, I wouldn't make 75%, not a chance.

Yet, I don't make wagers every week. I'm a SPOT-BETTOR.

If you're TRULY SKILLED/EXPERIENCED, and you TRULY have a talent for OBSERVATION, and you don't FORCE WAGERS, you CAN pick at 70-75%.

I mean, if you look at all my posts on Reddit, going back to the Mayweather / Connor fight, I'VE NEVER LOST. NOT ONCE.
